Micro-Econometric Analysis of Labour Market Laboratory
The Micro-Econometric Analysis of Labour Market (MALM) Laboratory conducts research in applied labor economics and microeconomics using conventional and up-to-date microeconometric techniques and methodologies.
MALM conducts research on:
- labor supply and demand,
- wage formation and bargaining,
- unemployment,
- human capital,
- immigration,
- health outcomes,
- happiness economics,
- IT adoption and consumption.
MALM analyses issues pertaining to the Greek and the international labor markets and it utilizes well known Greek and international databases. More precisely, MALM utilizes primarily cross-sectional-panel data/longitudinal such as the National Longitudinal Survey of Youth (NLSY), European Community Household Panel (ECHP), Income, Social Inclusion and Living Conditions (EU-SILC), European Social Survey (ESS), Greek Census (IPUMS), Greek Household Budget Survey (GHBS), Greek Labor Force Survey (GR-LFS), and the Greek Structure of Earnings Survey (GR-SES).
